I liked this commercial when I saw it the first time. But after reading Stephen Heller’s column (link in the headline), like him, I’m wondering where the idea came from - from the book “Face to Face” by François and Jean Robert or if the idea was floating around for some time.
But is it natural to look for symmetry and and a face in objects? Do we look for something familiar (What’s more familiar than a face?) in ordinary objects?
